Republican Missouri Gov. Mike Parson refused to pardon a black man who served 43 Years in Prison for a Crime he Didn’t Commit, but pardoned a St. Louis couple who waved their guns at a crowd of Black Lives Matter demonstrators immediately after they were convicted.

Despite the witness recanting her testimony which put this innocent man in prison 43 years ago for a crime he didn’t commit … the  prosecutors and judges wanting him to be freed, he continues to remain in prison because the Republican Governor, Mike Parson says addressing the clemency petition for a man who’s been behind bars for more than four decades “is not a priority”.

This is another example of two (2) “Justice” systems in the United States where the RICH and Politically well connected often escapes Justice and Accountability.

Within one month of taking office, Merrick Garland should have had Trump arrested and prosecuted for the 10 instances detailed in the Mueller Report of Trump Obstructing Justice.

The world saw this video which shows unarmed 43 year father of 6, Eric Garner being choked to death by an officer of the New York Police Department. The coroner stated that Eric Garner’s death was cause by “homicide due to a chokehold and chest compression”. Yet, the Grad Jury refused to indict the cop who was responsible for Eric Garner’s death.

If a non-law enforcement person had caused Mr. Garner’s death in the same manner, the person responsible would most certainly have been arrested, indicted and probably found guilty.

 

NYPD Officer In Eric Garner Case Is Fired

The United States courts and justice system too often seems to protect criminals.

1. The current standard of “Beyond a reasonable doubt” is so high that a Juror must almost see a defendant committing a crime. This needs to change so that at the end of a trial, a Juror can vote innocent or guilty based on if they feel (after hearing all of the evidence) the defendant is Innocent or Guilty.

2. It is common practice for attorneys in the United States to use every and any tactic available, even if they know their client is guilty to get their client acquitted. In the process, Justice and finding the truth often gets lost in a personal fight between attorneys who only care about winning at all costs. Career advancement and fame become many attorneys primary focus. This has been going on for a LONG time and it needs to STOP.

The absolute purpose of our courts should be finding the TRUTH and making sure that proper justice is served. If a defense attorney knows their client is guilty, they should be required to tell the court what they know about their client.

If the Prosecution or Defense impede the finding of the truth in any way, they should be punished by the court and possibly disbarred.

Our Justice System is seriously broken and needs to be totally revamped.
