Electric Chair Should Be Outlawed

Tennessee revives use of electric chair to kill death row inmates due to drugs shortage

Over recent months America’s death row units have found it increasingly difficult to obtain the deadly injections because of a European-led boycott on such sales Amid growing shortages in America of the lethal injections used to kill death row inmates, the state of Tennessee has agreed to bring back the electric chair.

The Electric Chair should have never been used or legalized. It’s cruel and unusual punishment which may destroy the soul and should be outlawed once and for all.

May 23, 2014 Tennessee Republican Governor Bill Haslam signed a bill into law to allow the use of the Electric Chair when lethal injection drugs are unavailable. Click here and here to read articles.

By authorizing electrocutions, Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam proved to be a heartless bastard, unfit to hold any position of authority. This is typical out of “Conservative” Republicans who’s states are the only ones which have death penalties in the United States.

Even though it was clear that using electrocution was inhumane, cruel & unusual punishment, this horrible method of execution has continued for over 100 years and was recently re-instated by Republican Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam – Details here…

The fact that it wasn’t outlawed and used for over 100 years proves what irresponsible, heartless idiots we have had running this country. They didn’t give a DAMN as long is it wasn’t THEM.

Thomas Edison was a conservative and he was one of the most prominent people who recommended using the Electric Chair. In fact, a couple of his associates “invented” it. He knew AC current was dangerous and preferred to use DC current for that very reason. He and his associates electrocuted animals in public to prove to the public how dangerous AC current was.

August 6, 1890 the United States sanctioned the first Death Penalty by the Electric Chair. George Westinghouse comment about the first Electric Chair execution; “they would have done better using an axe,”and a witnessing reporter claimed that it was “an awful spectacle, far worse than hanging.” Details at – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_chair

Electrocution is legalized torture and painful beyond description.

Since the late 1880’s and until about 2008, the Electric Chair was used to execute condemned people. The United States was the first country to use such a horrendous method to kill people and is one of the very few countries to use such a horribly barbaric method.

This is the most painful way to die imaginable… like being burned alive. There have been debates that death by electrocution may even kill the condemned person’s soul since the brain uses minute electric impulses. It could even cause someone to suffer through eternity for all we know.

It is important to remember that since our justice system is flawed, many innocent people have been tortured to death by this unspeakably painful method.

When I was about 8, I was shocked for a couple seconds by 110 volts of electricity. The pain was so intense that I cannot even imagine being electrocuted with 1,800 volts which are used for up to 15 seconds for the initial electrocution process, then 240 applied for as long as it take to kill someone.

Researchers say there’s evidence that consciousness continues after clinical death

Researchers at NYU’s Langone Medical Center have conducted a study of patients who have experienced near-death experiences, and the results are intriguing and chilling. Dr. Sam Parnia, the director of resuscitation research at NYU Langone, joins CBSN to discuss the findings of this mind bending study.

There are documented cases of people having near death experiences in which they leave their body, then come back and report what they saw. This helps prove that there is life after death.

The brain functions using minute electrical impulses. Although no one knows for sure, the soul may be a sort of copy of the brains electrical impulses which continues throughout eternity after the physical body dies.

The Electric Chair May Destroy the Soul

During a natural death, a person makes a natural transition from the physical body to the spiritual body. Electrocution makes a peaceful transition impossible because alternating current is being passed through the victims entire body during the entire time the person is dying. Trillions of electrons are being forced through the victims body and brain at the molecular level. This causes excruciating pain and may trap the victims life-electricity soul in a violent electric field which is switching polarity 60 times per second. Human beings were never made to endure such unnatural trauma.

The book, Nature Suffrage by Charles Ralph Mabee states “if life-electricity contains the intellect, the electric chair destroys the soul of man“.

“Four invisible forces, life-electricity, electricity, gravity and magnetism, inhibit the human body. Life-electricity gives intelligence to matter, as gravity gives weight to matter. We know that the intelligence of man may be blotted out through the operation of an electrical law whereby unlike charges of electricity attract one another with a force which is in direct proportion to the product of the charges. As the intellect and will of man are properties of a form of matter, this matter is subjected to transformation through contact with an unlike charge of electrical matter of high intensity, such as the charge which passes through the body of criminals during electrocution. It is logical to conclude that the current employed during electrocution, being of great intensity, transforms the life-electricity of which the intellect is a property, into an unintelligent form of matter, much the same as when heat is added to ice, the ice is transformed into water and steam, and no longer displays the characteristics of ice”.

It is therefore possible that death by the Electric Chair may cause the victim’s soul to be destroyed and they may suffer through eternity.

Electrocution is clearly inhumane, cruel and unusual punishment

The electric chair is the most horrible and painful way to die ever created. If you have never had an electric shock of 110 volts or more then you cannot imagine how painful an electric shock can be.

Anyone who feels using the Electric Chair is a OK method to kill someone should try being tasered for 15 – 20 seconds. That is the same period of time a victim is initially shocked with 1,800 volts to kill them in the chair.

One who is put to death by electrocution is literally burned alive and their brain fried. Since your brain creates your entire reality, it’s incomprehensible to imagine the instant HELL one is plunged into the moment high voltage & current is applied.

It was apparent from the very first execution, that the Electric Chair was cruel and unusual punishment. Click here to read the history of the Electric Chair.

This is yet another example of man’s inhumanity to man and the incredible ignorance of so called government leaders and the supreme court. If the “powers that be” had any sense, they would have outlawed the Electric Chair over 100 years ago after the first execution using this horrific misuse of technology.

Many people feel it is justifiable to use the most painful methods available to execute a convicted murderer. People who feel that way should consider how they would like being electrocuted and how they would feel if their Mother, Dad, Son, Daughter, Brother or Sister were to die in the Electric Chair.

Most people who commit violent murders are sick individuals. They were either born that way or bad circumstances made them that way. Almost anyone is capable of killing another human being under the right circumstances.

When we as a society use capital punishment to kill another human being, we become as guilty of murder as much as the criminal whose life is snuffed out.

The Sixth Commandment reads: Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13)

Electricity should only be used for powering electrical devises, not hooked up to human beings and animals in slaughterhouses.

It’s time to pull out the plug on the Electric Chair, Once and for all!
